The title kind of gives it away. This project was started to raise money to help start a physics blog.

I don’t have any college degrees, but I have read hundreds of physics books and articles in the last 5 years. I have also written guest blog posts for numerous science websites around the internet. I don’t think any of that makes me any more likely to succeed at running my own physics blog, but I want to give it a try. I just need a little help starting out. That is where you can help.

Here is what I’ll need to get started:

$10 for a domain name
$100 for 2 month of web hosting
$500 for a custom website theme
$1000 to keep me writing about physics for at least 60 days in the blog
